Indios, a soccer club from Mexican border city Ciudad Juarez, has hired Brazilian international Carlos Dias, better known as Carlinho, from Honduras club Real Espana, the two clubs' websites reported on Thursday.
"We two clubs have reached a transfer agreement today," Espana said. "Dias will travel to Mexico on Nov. 25."
Indios is the bottom team in Mexico's Opening Tournament with 11 losses and six draws. Its last match, on Tuesday ended 1-1 against Pumas, which represents the National Autonomous University of Mexico. By contrast, in the last 21 games, Espana has won nine games, drawn six and lost six.
Carlinho, a Brazilian, spend three of the last four weeks off the pitch due to a groin strain. However, he scored in each of his last two games.
