Nigeria's Super Eagles coach Shaibu Amodu was in high spirits before departing the country for South Africa on Tuesday ahead of the draw on Friday.
There is the possibility of Nigeria being drawn alongside one of South American powerhouses Brazil or Argentina in the 2010 World Cup group stages.
Amodu told reporters before departing for Cape Town that he was not bothered about the draw.
"No, I don't want to comment on a draw that has not been made," he said.
"The draw will afford me an opportunity to assess the teams in our group and make a comment," he added.
Amodu, who would not comment on the alleged move by the National Sports Commission (NSC) to engage the services of a foreign coach for the senior national team, insisted he was capable of leading the country to the World Cup.
The NFF board last Wednesday ratified the recommendation of the football house's technical committee that Amodu should be in charge of the Eagles at the World Cup.
Nigeria is expected to be in pot three along with Ivory Coast, Ghana, Cameroon, Algeria, Paraguay, Chile and Uruguay.
