Syrian claims 4 badminton golds in Mediterranean Championship

The Syrian badminton team won 4 gold, 2 silver and one bronze medasl in the Mediterranean championship which was held in Lebanon from October 14 to 18.
As for women's singles, Hadeel Kareem raced past Sanaa Mahmoud to win the gold, while her fellow Syrians won the women's doubles after beating their Italian counterparts 2-1.
On the men's part, Syria won the final over Italy.
The Syrian team gained the fourth gold medal in the mixed doubles as they beat an Italian duo.
A total of 35 players from Italy, Cyprus, Lebanon, Morocco and Syria participated in this championship.
