The Swiss Bank UBS survey, conducted every three years and released on Tuesday or March 18, has rated Tokyo as the most expensive city in Asia, which is followed by Seoul, the second; Singapore, the third, and Hong Kong, the fourth, among the Asian cities.
Meanwhile, the UBS survey also cites Oslo as the most costly city in Europe, which is followed by London, Copenhagen, and Dublin, the capital of Ireland whose ratting has been uplifted to the fourth, according to the Singapore United Morning News Website.
Meanwhile, the cost of living in the United States, however, has become much cheaper because of the weak US dollar. In term of the cost of living, the New York City has lowered to the 18th place worldwide after Tokyo, Brussels, Lyon and other cities.
