Nepal lack of 50,000 school teachers |

Nepali schools are lack of around 50,000 teachers, local newspaper The Himalayan Times reported on Friday.
Addressing the press conference organized in Nepalgunj, some 365 km west of capital Kathmandu in Mid-western Development Region, Minister of State for Education and Sports, Mohan Singh Rathaur Thursday said, "Although the country needs 62,000 teachers, only 12,000 will be appointed this year due to funds crunch."
According to Mohan Singh Rathaur, around 62,000 teachers are required in schools all over the country, and the finance ministry has assured a budget for 12,000 teachers only.
