China Study Center-Nepal signed in Kathmandu Saturday morning an academic exchanges and cooperation Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a visiting Chinese delegation.
The MoU was signed by China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations (CICIR) Vice-chairman Li Shaoxian and Madan Regmi, chairman of the China Study Center-Nepal. Under the deal, CICIR and China Study Center-Nepal will invite a three-four member delegation from the other side for a one-week academic visit every alternate year. They will also regularly exchange their academic publications.
On Friday, the delegation met Nepali Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala and attended the interaction on "Nepal-China Contemporary Dialogue" with Nepali Minister Sahana Pradhan for Foreign Affairs and Minister Hisila Yami for Physical Planning and Works.
The Chinese delegation arrived here on Thursday for a five-day visit.
