Nepal Astrological Society has said a partial lunar eclipse can be seen from Nepal Wednesday evening.
According to the society, the effect of the eclipse, which is the second and last lunar eclipse of this year, can be viewed from 6:30 p.m. to 7:07 p.m. local time (1245-1312 GMT) from Nepal.
People from western hemisphere and eastern Asia can have the lunar view for a very short period whereas those living in the South and North America and Australia can clearly see the full eclipse.
As per the solar system's revolution, when the earth falls in between the sun and the moon, the earth blocks the light of sun and the shadow of the earth makes the moon dark, causing the lunar eclipse.
