On February 5, students took the fine arts examination at the Shungeng International Convention and Exhibition Center in Jinan.

The entrance examination for art universities and colleges in Shandong Province began on that day. Because of the huge number of students, Shandong University of Art and Design moved the examination to the Shungeng Exhibition Center in Jinan, which occupies an area of over 20,000 square meters. There, more than 8,000 students participated in the exam. A total of 90,500 students in Shandong took this entrance examination in arts in 2009.
