Macao logs 6 HIV infections in Q2

Macao recorded six new HIV infections in the second quarter of this year, among whom three are non-residents, according to official statistics issued Friday.

The figures from the Health Bureau (HB) showed that two previously reported HIV cases were diagnosed as AIDS in the quarter.

The total number of reported HIV cases reached 378 since 1986, when the first was logged, according to the statistics.
Macao has a population of about 500,000.
