At least five persons, including two children have died following an outbreak of diarrhea in remote western region of Nepal over the last two days, reported the local media house's website ekantipur Tuesday.
With this, the death toll in Kalikot District, some 400 km west of the capital city, reached 56 due to diarrhea outbreak since April of this year.
The local have complained that they have been deprived of treatment due to lack of health officials, even after 5 months of the outbreak of gastro-enteritis diseases in the district.
