At least 10 people have died of diarrhea in Humla district in mid-western Nepal in the past seven days, the National News Agency, RSS reported on Monday.
The victims include children and elderly people. Five of them died while undergoing treatment at the Rodikot Health Post, some 350 km west of Kathmandu.
Another 20 to 25 persons are still undergoing treatment at the post, according to the RSS.
Meanwhile, a medical team has been dispatched for the affected area, according to Humla District Health Office.
