"The Alias" star Jennifer Garner said that she and her husband have no desire to see her daughter in the film industry, media reported Wednesday.
The American actress and her husband, actor Ben Affleck, both 35, have a 1-year-old daughter, Violet.
"We would just kibosh it (any acting ambition)," Garner told the media on their daughter's future in acting.
The couple want Violet to seek a more stable career than acting.
Garner has also vowed never to star in a movie directed by Affleck because she does not want to neglect their daughter.
She would prefer to look after Violet while her husband goes to work.
"I don't think I would ever star in a movie that Ben directed because somebody has to raise the kids, but he'd better eventually find a little something for me or he'll pay for it!"
