A Los Angeles judge suspended troubled singer Britney Spears' visitation rights with her children until she complies with all of a commissioner's orders, according to media reports Friday.

"Petitioner's (Britney's) visitation with the minor children is suspended pending Petitioner's compliance with the court orders," said the order signed by Los Angeles County Commissioner Scott M. Gordon.

But he did not give the detail why the singer is barred from seeing her boys, Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, only one day after a lawyer for her ex-husband Kevin Federline went to court seeking an emergency hearing.

A source familiar with the ongoing custody tug-of-war told the media that Federline was so angry after the children's last visit with Spears and vowed to do whatever it takes to keep his ex-wife from seeing their babies again until she cleans up her act.

"She just doesn't take parenting seriously," the source insider said.

"He knows that even with monitored visits, no one can make Britney do what she doesn't want to do," the source added.

However, the decision has devastated the singer.

"She's really upset," a source close to Spears told the media. "She keeps saying, 'I can't believe this is happening.' It's like she just can't accept what's happened."

Spears, 26 and Federline, 29, split up a year ago after two years of marriage and since then, her life has veered out of control despite a stint in rehab.

The pair have been embroiled in a bitter custody dispute, and in recent months Gordon ordered the boys should live with Federline under tightened rules regarding Spears' visits.

The singer has been ordered to get coaching on parenting skills, seek counseling and undergo random drug testing. Gordon has said evidence showed she is a frequent user of "controlled substances and alcohol."

Spears is due in court on Oct. 26 for another custody hearing.
