China exhibition hall makes debut in Expo Zaragoza 2008

The 2008 World Expo was inaugurated in Zaragoza, Spain on June 14. The expo, themed “Water and Sustainable Development," attracted 105 countries and three international organizations. It will run for three months. It is estimated that visitors will be between six million time persons and nine million time persons.

Through three years of painstaking preparation work, China's exhibition hall has made a fantastic debut and successfully presented to visitors at the World Expo the history and current status of Water in China, Water and Chinese Life. In effect, it demonstrates to the world Chinese civilization.

China's exhibition hall, one of the biggest foreign pavilions at the Expo, covers an area of 1,200 square meters and is divided into five parts.

The Organizing Committee of the China Pavilion predicts that China's exhibition hall will receive one million time persons visits during the 93 day exhibition period.
