Corona and diamond ring appear during total solar eclipse in east China

Photo taken on July 22, 2009 shows the corona (the Sun's outer atmosphere) appearing during the total solar eclipse observed in Tianhuangping, a tourist site in east China's ZheJiang Province. A total solar eclipse was viewed at 9:15 am in many places along the upper stream of China's longest river of the Yangtze.
