Recently, "eggshell men" showed up on the streets of Shanghai, triggering heated discussions among netizens.

According to the photos provided by netizens, the so-called "eggshell men" are people wearing eggshell-like helmets on their heads, with a pair of black-rimmed glasses on the eggshells. The photos show that there are at least four people with "eggshells" heads, two men and two women. The women looks like office ladies and the men are wearing casual clothes.

The photos show the "eggshell men" attracting pedestrians' attention everywhere they go and some people even took out their cameras to take pictures.

The photos have also triggered heated discussions on Internet forums. Some netizens guessed they were students from art schools practicing "losing face" with this look while some suspected this was just another case of sensationalism or advertisement.
