After allegedly stabbing to death his ex-wife and her mother in Ordos, the Inner Mongolia autonomous region, the suspect phoned the cops, saying he wanted to interview them.

The accused is now in police custody.

The suspect went to his ex-wife's house in the early hours of last Saturday and following a quarrel stabbed her and her mother.

Neighbors phoned the police, who rushed to the scene and found the two bodies bathed in blood.

The police launched a manhunt for the suspect, who, a day later, phoned them, asking for an appointment for an interview.

He was arrested when he arrived at the police station.
