Chinese Finance Minister Xie Xuren met with his Japanese and Russian counterparts on Sunday, one day after the expanded discussion between Group of Seven financial chiefs and those from China, Russia, South Korea and Indonesia.

Xie exchanged ideas with Japanese Finance Minister Fukushiro Nukaga on Sino-Japanese relationship and issues such as bilateral financial cooperation.

The two ministers agreed to hold the second dialogue between finance ministers from the two countries later March in Tokyo.

During Xie's meeting with Russian Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin, the two ministers talked about issues of common interests such as the third China-Russia financial and economic dialogue.
