In order to experience Chinese culture, dozens of Paralympians from different countries, as well as their coaches, assistants and volunteers, gathered in the cybercafé in the Paralympic Village to learn "the Analects of Confucius" on September 10, according to Beijing Times. They read loudly that "Is it not pleasant to learn with a constant perseverance and application? Is it not delightful to have friends coming from distant quarters?"
The cybercafé in Paralympic Village held cultural exchanging activities in a purpose to introduce Confucius, the greatest teacher in ancient China, to foreign athletes, coaches and assistants, said Li Lan, vice-president of Lenovo Corporation and the cyber cafe's operator. Work staffs in the cybercafé explain "the Analects of Confucius" to foreign guests, teach them to appreciate Chinese hand-writing and give bilingual brochures of Confucius to visitors as gifts.
