Foreign diplomats participate in cultural activities in NE China


A seven-year-old Beijing opera performer (2nd R) sits among participants during a program joined by senior officials from foreign embassies, in Yichun of northeast China's Helongjiang Province, July 18, 2009. Some 70 senior officials including 23 ambassadors from foreign embassies in China took part in an event organized by the Chinese People's Association For Friendship with Foreign Countries to promote the ecological tourism of Yichun from July 16 to 20. The participants also learned Chinese traditional culture such as paper-cut, calligraphy and Beijing opera during the event.(Xinhua Photo)
