The State Archives Administration of China is holding an exhibition of a batch of "National Treasure archives" from Sept. 1 to Sept. 7 so that the public can enjoy the fruits of the archives' protection efforts. All the archives are being premiered at the China Millennium Monument during this time.
These precious treasures include the "Giant Golden List" of the Qing Dynasty, which was included in the U.N. Memory of the World program, the concepts of operations of the Three Major Domestic Campaigns (Liaoshen Campaign, Pingjin Campaign and Huai Campaign) written by Chairman Mao and a special gift that President Hu Jintao gave Lian Zhan in 2005, which is an application by Lian's grandfather to restore his Chinese nationality.
In addition, the original documentary video of Chinese revolutionary Sun Yat-sen's funeral and an original tape recording of six pieces of music by A Bing, a very famous modern blind musician, will be played at the exhibition.
