These two relics, together with the Buddha's tooth relic in Lingguang Temple in Badachu, Beijing and the Buddha's finger bone relic in Famen Temple in Xi'an, Shanxi are considered to be the "three treasures at home".

After nearly a 28 year absence, the two relics will be greeted by Yunju Temple where they will be transferred from the basement of the Capital Museum and exhibited for 10 days.
