Britney Spears has been ordered to be booked in her hit-and-run case, media reported Wednesday.
Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Rebecca Omens on Tuesday ordered the pop star to appear at a Los Angeles police station before Oct. 25, when she is due to appear in court.
Spears must be photographed and fingerprinted in relation to the charges stemming from the Aug. 6 incident in which she was filmed by paparazzi smashing into someone's vehicle and then walking away.
Spears was charged last month with hit and run and driving without a valid license after she was filmed by paparazzi smashed her car into another in a parking lot in August.
The car's owner, Kim Robard-Rifkin, filed a police report three days after the incident. She discovered that Spears hit her car through an online video.
Spears was not present for Tuesday's arraignment. Her attorney said that she intends to compensate Robard-Rifkin for the damages.
