Man 'stabs himself to skip work'

A Blockbuster employee reportedly stabbed himself in the leg to avoid a day of work.
Aaron Siebers told police that he had been attacked by three men outside a Target department store on his way to work, the Denver Post reports.
Police launched a five-agency manhunt to look for the attackers, but security camera footage outside the shop showed no assault.
When confronted with the evidence, the 29-year-old admitted that he had stabbed himself in order to miss work. He was taken to Jefferson County prison and charged with false reporting and obstructing police.
Lakewood police spokesman Steve Davis said: "If you are going to concoct a story about being stabbed, don't do it near a Target store."
