Swedish health officials confirmed on Sunday the second case of A/H1N1 flu in the country.
A man, born in 1984, has contracted the A/H1N1 flu virus, the Swedish Institute for Infectious Disease Control (SMI) said in a statement.
The young man recently returned from a trip to New York of the United States. He was ill with symptoms when he came back to Sweden. He was quickly taken to a hospital for medical treatment, and now is not contagious any more.
Sweden confirmed its first A/H1N1 flu case on May 6. A 50-year-old woman was ill for three days with mild symptoms after her trip to the United States, and she has recovered quickly.
The SMI said that studies carried out at its virological laboratory confirmed that these two cases haven't any contact.
