Cuba's Health Ministry on Sunday reported its fifth confirmed case of A/H1N1 flu.
The patient is a 62-year-old Canadian woman who arrived Tuesday last week.
The woman, who had a cough, was detected at the Antonio Maceo Airport in Cuba's second largest city Santiago by body temperature monitoring system, and was sent directly to hospital for isolation, the ministry said in a statement.
She has been treated with anti-viral drug Oseltamivir for the last five days, and her health condition has improved, the statement said, adding that other people aboard the same flight from Toronto are under epidemiological track.
