Another 37 new cases of A/H1N1 flu were confirmed on the Chinese mainland in the 24 hours ending 6 p.m. Monday, bringing the country's total to 766 with no fatalities reported.

Thirteen new cases were found in Shanghai, and seven each for Beijing Municipality and coastal Guangdong Province, according to a news bulletin posted on the Web site of the Health Ministry on Monday.

Four new cases were confirmed in Fujian Province, two in Chongqing, and one each in Tianjin Municipality and provinces of Jiangsu, Shandong and Hainan, it said.

Among the patients, 445 have been discharged from hospitals, 307 were being treated in hospitals and 14 were receiving medical care at their homes.
