Vietnam's Ministry of Health confirmed 45 more A/H1N1 flu cases in the country on Sunday, bringing the country's tally to 226, local newspaper the New Hanoi reported Monday.

Among the confirmed cases, 196 patients are in south, 21 in north and nine others in central provinces, said the ministry.

So far, 123 patients have recovered and been discharged from hospital, while the others are still under treatment, all in stable condition.

The country has reported no death in connection with the flu so far.
