An Jinming, Deputy General-Director of Beijing Tourism Bureau announced that famous Swedish pianist Robert Wells was granted the title of Beijing Tourism Ambassador during the Rhapsody in Rock show held in Solliden in Stockholm on Saturday night.

"Mr. Wells is an old friend of Beijing. He has created a bridge between Beijing and Stockholm and between China and Sweden through his numerous times of performance in Beijing. For his contribution of promoting Beijing, I like to grant him the title of Beijing Tourism Ambassador on behalf of Beijing Tourism Bureau," said Mr. An.

An Jinming said Robert Wells was the first foreigner who won such a title from Beijing Tourism Bureau.
