Although the Beijing Subway Number 8 Line, namely the Olympic Branch Line, will be open only to Olympic ticket holders and accredited personnel such as athletes, officials and reporters during the Games, People's Daily online journalist managed to take a preview look at the state-of-the art new line, which is embroidered with colorful decorations, on 19 July, 2008.
