A poetry recitation for the China-Tajikistan friendship almond woods was held in Beijing University of Agriculture on April 8, 2009. Tajik Ambassador to China Rashid Alimov and Ms. Alimov, staff of the SCO, Tajikistan Embassy and Tajik students in Beijing attended the event, which is jointly sponsored by Tajik embassy and Beijing University of Agriculture.
