Yellow River turns yellower

Tourists view the Hukou Waterfall on the Yellow River in the Hukou scenic area on the border of northwest China's Shaanxi Province and north China's Shanxi Province, July 18, 2009. Recent rainstorms in north and northwest China have caused serious soil erosion, making the river yellower than usual. (Xinhua/Tao Ming)
