Dark rain clouds gather in the sky of the Dragon King Temple near the Wuhan section of the Yangtze River on July 22. The Yangtze River floods are expected to reach a new peak in Wuhan, capital of central China's Hubei province, this evening or early next morning. As of 6 p.m. of July 22, the water level of the Yangtze River in Wuhan reached 27.1 meters, submerging the viewing platform of the Dragon King Temple and is approaching 27.3 meters, which is the warning water level. This section of the Dragon King Temple, located at the junction of the Yangtze River and Hanjiang River, is under the greatest threat from the Wuhan flood.
