Gavin: This window is remarkably different form western windows, what can you tell me about it?

Hu: Oh, there are so many techniques for Chinese windows. We can talk about it all day if you have time! But if we simply talk about this one, you can see it is a common Chinese style which has the chase wood deco rationed frame on glass instead of the traditional paper.

We have lots of different patterns to make different windows, and we name all the patterns. Some windows are put in the middle of the garden, so that you can see different views framed like a picture, it's like you are in an art museum. Also it can stop the view from being too open.
