China's forwards, including Dong Fangzhuo of Manchester United, showed attacking power during their first training on Friday.

Coach Zhu Guanghu and his players were apparently in good mood. Captain Zheng Zhi, defender Sun Jihuai of Manchester City, Shao Jiayi of Cottbus all appeared at training ground at FAM Ground.

Dong scored twice during the following two-hour session, and so did another forward Han Peng.

"We feel well, and the weather is better than we thought," said advance forward Zhou Haibing at a scheduled press interview after the session.

China will play against co-host Malaysia on July 10 at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil.
