South Korea's Presidential Office said Wednesday that there is no military operations against kidnappers in Afghanistan.

"There might be no military operation to rescue the hostages," said a spokesman of the Presidential Office in response to earlier report by Reuters that military operation against kidnappers has begun in area where the South Korean hostages are supposed to be detained.
