In July 2006, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China issued “A Suggestion on Consolidating and Expanding the United Front” at this new stage of the new century.
The suggestion indicated that a new social circle, which formed during the reform and opening up in China, is composed of economic professionals from the private sector and free-lance professionals.
They are mainly distributed throughout new economic and social organizations.
The new social circle of professionals is the major component in work on the united front. The communist party must round up the new professionals so that they may play a role in gathering new strength for realizing China's revitalization.
