Donald Tsang to attend Boao Forum

The Chief Executive of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Donald Tsang will leave for Hainan Province on April 11 to attend the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2008, a press release said on Tuesday.

According to the press release from the Information Services Department of HKSAR government, Tsang will host a reception for the Hong Kong business delegates upon his arrival. He will attend the opening ceremony, address a luncheon and attend a welcome dinner on April 12.

The conference theme is Green Asia: Moving Toward Win-Win Through Changes.

Tsang will return to Hong Kong on April 13. During his absence, Hong Kong Financial Secretary John Tsang will be the acting Chief Executive on April 11 until Chief Secretary Henry Tang returns to Hong Kong from Beijing on the same day. Tang will then be the acting Chief Executive, the press release said.
