Norway led New Zealand 1-0 in the first half of the Olympic women's soccer tournament here on Saturday.

The only goal came in the 8th minute, when Norway's striker Melissa Wiik neatly headed Leni Larsen Kaurin's cross into the net.

It was Wiik's second goal in the tournament after she scored home one point in the previous match against the United States.
