63-year-old Guo Jijian, from a low-income family in Jinshui District of Zhengzhou city, has moved from a small room, with an area of about only 10 square meters, in Miaoli Village to a 61-square-meter apartment in Jinziyiyuan Community provided by the government.

Guo pays a monthly rent of only 20 yuan for the sunny, third floor apartment with two bedrooms and a living room.

In addition, governmental departments carry out maintenance on a regular basis.

Guo Jijian said, "I had lived in a small and dark room, and now I have moved into such a spacious and bright house, thanks to the care of the government. I sincerely appreciate the favorable policy of the Party and the government."
