"Without reform and opening-up, how can I come to Beijing? How can I drive my own car?" Lu He, talked about his own experience.

Lu He works at a car sales company in Beijing. Prior to that, he had worked as a security guard for a couple of years. It is very accurate to say he grows with the reform.

"When I was a child the life was very hard. No money was left at the end of a year although we had been very swift." "As I grew up, the life was becoming better. After graduation from school, I cannot find a job, so I decided to the outside world."

The reform offers a broad stage for Lu He. "At the beginning I just wanted to look around in Beijing. But out of my expectations, things went smoothly. Beijing gave me many opportunities."

Seven years ago when Lu He worked as a security guard, he earned more than 1,000 yuan per month.

To follow the tide of modern times, he studies English, computer operations and driving.

In 2005, he became a car dealer and the pay was several times higher compared with the years when he just arrived in Beijing. No he owned a car that carries him to every corner of the city.

"Judging from the development in these years, I think emancipation of mind is very important. Or we will have today's life and the future," Lu said.
