"Every one of us is experiencing the changes and impact of the reform and enjoying the fruits of the reform," Zeng Jiyuan told his story to reporter.
In 1986, Dingxiang County had a bump harvest of corns, but the farmers were worried because the corns cannot be sold. After careful study, Zeng Jiyuan a cadre of Dingxiang Enterprise Bureau, opened a processing plant producing 3000 tons of starch every year.
Having running his plant for twenty years, Zeng keeps expanding his business in corn conversion. In the years, he has donated more than five million yuan to public welfare and education.
"This year I will take 5 million yuan to build a new school, a recreation center for the aged, a cultural center and hospital for the village." Said Zeng.
