The Vietnam National University in Ho Chi Minh City conferred an honorary doctorate on Professor Klaus Schwab, Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum on June 8, 2010.
This is his twelfth degree. He obtained his first two degrees when he graduated from the Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich and the University of Fribourg, both in Switzerland.
He now holds 10 honorary doctorates from 10 different countries from prominent universities such as the London School of Economics for his services to international cooperation and his publications on corporate social responsibility.
