DPRK issues stamps marking world stamp exhibition

The Democratic People's Republicof Korea has issued two stamp sheets marking an upcoming world stamp exhibition, the official KCNA news agency said Thursday.

One sheet includes stamps featuring chrysanthemums and peonies. The other features the Taesong Hall of Songgyungwan, a cultural relic in southern DPRK, and Baima ( white horse) Temple in Luoyangin China's central Henan province, the KCNA said.

The China 2009 World Stamp Exhibition will be held on April 10-16 in Luoyang to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the foundation of the People's Republic of China.
