·In Italy 
 Wu, chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress 
(NPC), visited Milan, Rome and Florence during his stay in Italy, and met with 
President Giorgio Napolitano, Premier Silvio Berlusconi, Senate President 
Renato Schifani and Chamber of Deputies President Gianfranco Fini. 

·In Austria 
During his visit, Wu met with Austrian President Heinz Fischer, Vice Chancellor
and Federal Minister of Finance Josef Proll, National Council President Barbara
Prammer and Federal Council President Harald Reisenberger.  

· In Russia 
During his stay here, Wu, met with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, 
Federation Council Chairman Sergei Mironov and State Duma Chairman 
Boris Gryzlov.  

 		China's top legislator Wu Bangguo left Beijing to visit Russia, Austria and Italy. Wu, chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), the country's top legislature, will be a guest of top legislators of the three countries, according to a statement issued by the NPC. Wu's entourage includes his wife Zhang Ruizhen and officials from national and local legislatures, ministries of foreign affairs and commerce.
