  • ·Chinese President Hu Jintao will attend a series of UN meetings in New York and the Group of 20 (G20) financial summit in Pittsburgh, the United States, from Sept. 21 to 25.
    Hu is to elaborate the country's stance on various current issues, ranging from climate change and nuclear disarmament to economic recovery and trade protectionism to the UN and G20 summits.

    Hu Jintao will be the first Chinese head of state in over 30 years to attend the UN general debate.
