The temporarily closed central region of the Olympic park is expected to open to the public a few days later.

An official with the administration of the park said that the central region of the Olympic Park will be free to the public just as the Tiananmen Square.

However, the "Bird's Nest" (National Stadium), Water Cube, National Indoor Stadium are not free to the public, but the ticket prices have not been set yet.

The central region of Olympic Park was the most popular place of interest during the National holiday, having received 2.42 million tourists.
