
HOUSTON, Sept. 4 (Xinhua) -- Two people were killed and another one injured in a shooting Tuesday morning at a bar in the U.S. state of Oklahoma, authorities said.
The shooting was reported shortly after 2 a.m. Tuesday at a saloon in northeastern Oklahoma, the sheriff's office said in a news release.
The case is being investigated as a murder-suicide, according to local TV channel NewsOn6.
The shooter, identified by police as Preston Chandler, allegedly shot and killed Jim Grapevine before turning the gun on himself.
Preston's wife Melanie Chandler was allegedly shot by Preston and was expected to survive, said the report. The cause of the shooting was under investigation.
