
BERLIN, Oct. 7 (Xinhua) -- Two persons were seriously wounded by separate gunshots in Berlin over the weekend, German media reported on Sunday.
A 23-year-old man was shot in central Berlin on Sunday morning, lying in a doorway at a train station when he was found by passersby, German news site the Local reported, adding that the hospitalized victim was in a critical condition.
Investigation is underway on the identity of the attacker, the police said.
On Saturday, another 22-year-old was shot in the stomach after attending a party in the early morning. A stranger shot him after an argument.
Police are appealing for witnesses, the report said, adding that no clues have emerged so far.
