NEW DELHI, Oct. 21 (Xinhua) -- India Sunday accused Pakistan of aiding terrorists infiltrate into the country from across the border.
"We have information that Pakistan is helping terrorists to enter our territory. We have intelligence inputs. But we are on an alert," Indian Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde said in the national capital.
Though Indian security forces have been put on high alert, the Home Minister said: "I also appeal to people to be extra careful."
India had earlier on a number of occasions targeted Pakistan for helping terrorists to sneak into the country to carry out militant attacks. But Pakistan had rejected India's accusations and denied any involvement.
India had so far submitted at least eight dossiers to Pakistan containing evidence that Islamabad helped 10 Pakistani terrorists to enter Mumbai through sea route in November 2008 and carry out the massacre in which over 170 people were killed.
